Description
Calendula is a magical herb for skin care. We love it for its anti-inflammatory, cicatrisant, vulnerary (healing), protective and moisturising qualities. Calendula is suited to all skin types, particularly sensitive and weathered, and is a wonderful addition to skin care. That is why there is a high percentage of calendula oil in all our products.
The calendula salve is an effective first-aid for cuts, burns, scratches, cracked skin, itchiness, insect bites and skin irritation. It also works its magic on dermatitis (eczema), wounds, rashes and redness. It is an effective natural relief ointment to have on hand, promoting rapid healing and providing a protective barrier to the skin.
This salve is safe for babies from day one, as well as ultra-sensitive skin (think cracked nipples from nursing, internal nasal cracks, itching or redness around the genital area).
It only contains two wonderfully vulnerary ingredients: double-infused calendula oil and beeswax.
